Am I excited?

You bet!!!

After a three month dry spell, I finally have a new book idea.

Yesterday, I sat down and started writing it. Oh my word, I am so pysched. I can’t believe it’s taken this long to come up with a new idea. Since January I’ve been focusing on another book , and yes, I have even tried writing the first page – about 15 times. Failed every time. The book just wasn’t working. I guess my heart wasn’t in it.

Then I came across a call for submissions at one of the publishers. Seems there’s an anthology out there that I’d like to try my hand at. Okay, who am I kidding? The deadline for submissions is less than a month away. The speed I write, I may finish this book in August. But that’s not a prob. After reading the guidelines an idea formed in my head, and I knew at last I had a story.

Woo hoo!

It’s something new, something I’ve never tried my hand at before. Yes, it’s still contemporary erotic romance, but it’s stretching my limitations a little.

Think I’ll be able to do it? Damn, I hope so.

Wish me luck, I’m gonna give it my best shot.
