New Cover Art: The One That Got Away
Ooh, I have a brand new cover. And it’s a first for me: the models on the cover are FULLY DRESSED.
*Gasp*
I know. It’s not what I expected. If you’ve seen any of my other covers, you’ll know I like the models to be half naked or clad in sexy underwear or…wearing nothing at all. (Cough, Ask Adam, cough cough.)
So, yep, this one came as a bit of a surprise. What do you think?
Let me be first to warn you: The One That Got Away may look sweet, but it’s not. Hey, of course it’s not. I write erotic romance, remember?
This short story is being released at Musa Publishing as part of their erotic romance line, Calliope. The One That Got Away is my shortest story yet – just 8 000 words, and is part of a new short story line at Musa. Its called Finally Ever After, and will be a second chances line.
I don’t have more details to share with you now, but if you keep checking my website, I’ll have the blurb and an excerpt up soon.
Jess

I really like the cover
My only thoughts is that you can’t tell the “style” of your writing from it. The cover makes me think the story is more contemporary rather than erotica.
Oh well, I’m sure the publisher knows their target market and how to best reach their customers
LOL, Jo, that’s exactly why I added the bit about the book being an erotic romance.
Just in case anyone thinks it’s not.
I think I do like this because it feels very intense, this concentration and emotion between the two on the cover. That is truly as much a vital part of your writing as the heat, so it works for me
How fun, Jess!
Fedora, I love your response. “Intense concentration and emotion.”
Love that.
I like the cover, Jess! Nice on the outside but naughty on the inside. You know the saying, “looks are deceiving” 😉 I’m looking forward to reading this book.
