If you’re looking for me…
…I’m in South Africa!

Yep, no time to talk, no time to blog.
Right now, I’m back in the country where I lived for 33 years.
I haven’t visited since I immigrated nine and a half years ago.
Coming back here is as nerve wracking as it is thrilling. On the one hand, I’m home again. I’m in my native country. I know this place. I’ve breathed this air, lived this life. I was a part of South Africa, and South Africa is a part of me.
On the other hand? I’m on foreign soil, in a place I don’t recognize. A country that’s changed so much, both in heart and in structure, I can barely find my center.
Give me time to find my balance.
I’ll let you know how it’s going.
In the meantime, forgive me if you don’t hear from me for a while. I’m crazy busy reliving old memories and creating new ones.
Jess
